Adam’s Song

Listening to the song Gordo composed for Adam was awe inspiring. His guitar sang the praise, the sorrow, and the love of a lost friend. The notes send chills up my spine, and they swell my heart with mourning. Heartache is one of the most potent inspirational emotions someone can experience, and this song is the musical manifestion of the loss of a dear friend. It’s not just sorrowful, it’s hopeful that Adam has found his way to the next step in this crazy adventure of our spirit.

I only met him once, but he was a beautiful person, that much was easy to see. I hope he’s out there listening to this song. Hell, he helped Gordo write it. It is the melody of his soul. Rest in Peace.

Adam’s Third Stone

Sometimes in life the worst possible things you could imagine happen without warning. Adam Lockard, you are a teacher to those who will listen, a friend to those who will smile your way, and an inspiration to the world. I will miss the times we shared as age old friends. I hold your spirit in my prayers so that you may find that better place we all must seek when darkness falls. In your loving memory I have dedicated my new song, Adam’s Third Stone, to you buddy.

To all the incredible people that knew my friend Adam, I send my somber condolences. We all will remember this man, and his girlfriend Lucy, as genuinely life changing individuals. The pain may never leave, but the sadness fades only with the passing years. Everyone who has been touched by their lives know that we are better for it. Thank you for being my friend, and for loving your life every second of every day.
